TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama sophomore guard Alex Leatherwood was limited during practice Monday.
Sophomore Deonte Brown was lining up with the first-team offensive line while Leatherwood watched. He did dress for practice.
The Crimson Tide was in shorts and helmets while working outside, as it was 89 degrees out with a heat index of 96.
According to The Weather Channel the forecast for Saturday’s game against Arkansas Stats is for sunny skies with a 20 percent chance of rain, high of 94 and winds SE at 5 to 10 mph.
Nick Saban said earlier Monday that a couple of players might be held out of practice, but he expected everyone to be ready for Tuesday. Linebacker Mack Wilson and defensive lineman Quinnen Williams, who were both sidelined for a bit against Louisville, were both in their usual spots during the observation period.
Freshman defensive lineman Stephon Wynn Jr. (ligament strain) was in a black no-contact jersey for stretching, but headed off to work with a trainer when drills began.
