3-star OL commits to Arizona after de-committing from Louisville

Wildcats picks up third OL in class

Jamari Williams, a three-star offensive lineman from Florida, announced his decision to commit to the Arizona Wildcats on Thursday only hours after de-committing from Louisville.

Williams, from Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, is rated as the 44th-best offensive guard in the country in the 247Sports Composite rankings. Williams is the third offensive lineman in Arizona's recruiting class, which has 14 committed players.

Getting deeper and bigger on both lines is a priority for first-year Arizona coach Kevin Sumlin, whose staff is targeting junior college help in the trenches. The Wildcats received a commitment last week from Ahina "Rocky" Aitogi, a 6-foot-7, 360-pound offensive tackle from Fort Scott (Kan.) Community College.

He has also had offers from Kentucky, Indiana, Boston College, UCF, Mississippi State, N.C. State, Pitt, Purdue, Syracuse and others.

Williams (6-4, 275) received congratulations on Twitter from Jakai Clark, a three-star offensive lineman from Georgia, who said he will decide between Arizona and Illinois on Wednesday.
