Arizona's 2019 schedule is out, with the rivalry game against Arizona State scheduled for the day after Thanksgiving in Tempe.
Arizona opens the season early -- August 24 at Hawaii -- before one of its three bye weeks. The home non-conference slate is highlighted by a Sept. 14 game against Texas Tech, which will feature new head coach Matt Wells, hired recently from Utah State to replace Kliff Kingsbury.
(The Wildcats will still see Kingsbury, reportedly hired to be USC's offensive coordinator.)
In the Pac-12, Arizona will play North division teams Washington and Stanford, which replace Washington State and Cal in the league's two-year rotation crossover divisional schedule.
Most college football teams get two bye weeks next season, instead of one, because of a quirk in the calendar. Arizona gets three because of the early opener at Hawaii.
