He expects to be better still next season.
Weaver, talking in the video above on the day before Cal's annual spring game, says the small things he devoted time to during those practices will make him a better player once they become part of his muscle memory.
Weaver's 155 tackles last fall were the most of any player returning next fall. He averaged 12.2 tackles to rank sixth in the national and his interception return for a touchdown, shown in the photo above, was the Bears' only TD in an upset of eventual Pac-12 champion Washington.
