Akinola Ogunbiyi, one of the latest commits from the state of Texas, was at one time trending towards the Oklahoma Sooners. After G-Day, the Georgia Bulldog's annual spring game, Ogunbiyi decided to give his word to Sam Pittman and commit to the University of Georgia.
Ogunbiyi has told The Bulldog Maven that he has completely shut down his recruitment, and is sold on the Georgia Bulldogs.
"I love Coach Pittman and UGA, and I believe we will win a natty in the future," said Ogunbiyi.
For the rest of the 2020 cycle, Ogunbiyi is dedicated to bringing more talent with him to UGA. He's been relentless on five star Ohio State commit, Paris Johnson Jr. But, if he could choose any player in the 2020 class to come with him to UGA, it would be Sedrick Van Pran.
Ogunbiyi is very keen about what UGA's OL Coach, Sam Pittman, is doing at Georgia, and he is passionate about being a part of that.
Georgia has already landed five-star linemen Broderick Jones and Tate Ratledge, in addition to Ogunbiyi. If he is able to help persuade Van Pran and Johnson to come to UGA, Georgia would be in a position to sign the highest rated offensive line unit in 2020
