Former North Carolina running back Jordan Brown has transferred to Kansas State University.
As a graduate transfer, Brown is eligible to play immediately for new head coach Chris Klieman and Company.
Coming out of high school, the 5'10", 200lb backer was the 12th ranked all-purpose back prospect in the country.
In two seasons competing for the Tar Heels, Brown was no doubt frustrated with his limited role. He appeared in 14 games, and rushed for less than 1000 yards in that time, and saw his role drastically decline last year.
Kansas State returns zero scholarship running backs from a year ago, and Brown will have ample opportunity to earn carries this Fall. He'll compete with fellow graduate transfer James Gilbert for the starting job, but with only four other backs on the roster, all freshman, both are sure to garner significant playing time this Fall.
