Podcast: Sooner Men Have Nothing To Apologize For

OU Men are in the NCAA based on the games they won in November and December and that's a good thing

The Oklahoma Sooners are the NCAA tournament because the selection committee loved OU's strength of schedule (15th according to CBS). This is a credit to Joe Castiglione and others in the athletic department who prevented OU from playing any quadrant four opponents.

The result of playing a well-crafted schedule in November and December gave the Sooners margin for error during Big 12 play and at times Lon Kruger's team took full advantage of that situation.

Regardless of how the conference season turned out, Oklahoma was 12-2 in the noncon and have a new life with a chance to prove the committee right with a win over Ole Miss Friday morning.
