Oregon's Week 1 Depth Chart

Observations: Tons of depth on the offensive line; true freshman to play a big role

As the 2018 college football season gets underway this weekend, Oregon has released its depth chart for the season opener against Bowling Green.

While there arent many surprises based on the reports coming out of fall camp, the offensive line depth and true freshmen are the immediate standouts.

Center Jake Hanson and left guard Shane Lemieux are the only designated starters. Tackles Penei Sewell and Calvin Throckmorton and right guard Dallas Warmack are listed as OR positions with backups. As of now, the Ducks have eight different potential starters for the five spots, with head coach Mario Cristobal saying, they will all play.

Sewell is the only freshman listed as a starter with seven of them being listed as part of the two-deep. Linebacker Adrian Jackson, safety Jevon Holland, cornerback Verone McKinley III and wide receiver Bryan Addison are the four whove made the most noise in camp and should immediately contribute on Saturday.

The Ducks appear to be in good shape for the future as 16 starters come from the sophomore and junior class.

Somewhat surprised it's Redd over Schooler... he must have really busted ass in camp to get the starting nod.
