So far on the season, the Ducks have done a great job of staying relatively healthy. Apart from losing starting tight end Cam McCormick in week one, Oregon has yet to suffer another big injury.
That’s why last week’s bye week was extremely important and came at a very opportune time. To prevent minor injuries from becoming major ones, key contributors such as defensive lineman Austin Failou and tight end Jacob Breeland were able to get valuable recovery time before this week’s game.
And this week’s matchup is a big one — No. 7 Washington comes to Eugene.
Running back Tony Brooks-James is the listed starter after no receiving any carries agianst Cal two weeks ago. However, he did return kicks in that game.
Wide receiver Bryan Addison is no longer listed as a backup, but rather Johnny Johnson III and Brenden Schooler are listed as “OR” starters. Lastly, nose tackle Sione Kava is listed as a co-backup with Popo Aumavae, both behind Jordon Scott.
