A Jersey Guy's Picks: Week 11

Too much faith in Nebraska last week, but other than that, it was all good as we went 2-1, with Arkansas and Bama giving us SEC wins. That puts us 5 games OVER .500 against the spread, which is money in the bank.

But the fight continues. This week nothing jumps at us, but we will take chances on Kentucky vs. Tennessee, LSU vs. Arkansas and California vs. Washington State.

The LOCK-Smith is also on a roll with a solid win last week with Penn State rolling over Iowa. This week, he moves to the SEC with Georgia vs. Kentucky.[membership level="0"] The rest of this article is available to subscribers only - to become a subscriber click here.[/membership] [membership]

GEORGIA over Auburn, taking 10

Yeah, yeah, we know: the SEC East pales in comparison to the West. And Auburn is on a roll, having won six straight to recover from a 1-2 start. And the Tigers even get back quarterback Sean White, limited by injuries recently, for this one. But Georgia at home as a double-digit underdog with head coach Kirby Smart ready to cook up something to stop Auburn, using his familiarity from his days as Alabama's defensive coordinator? It won't be an easy task for Georgia's frosh QB Jacob Eason but defense will keep the Bulldogs in this one. And if it's close they're in their comfort zone, having gone 3-2 in games this year decided by three points or less. Maybe not a Georgia upset but Auburn gets a scare here.
