It's getting close to crunch time and we still are 5 games above .500, which is always the goal. More importantly we are winning our race with that guy in California, who has conceded and now is handing off games to his son--probably a wise move and Mr. College Football who has yet to prove that in picking games. We are in a race with The Gould Standard who we think makes his picks based on college fight songs, but it's working.
We're still not up to speed (2-3-1 last week) but we are headed in the right direction.
And as for The Locksmith--another Jersey Guy by the way--he's starting to hit his stride. He was 2-0 last week.
So with only a few more shopping weeks left in this season, let's see what we have this week.
A Jersey Guy

Michigan State getting 17 points vs. OHIO STATE--This one puzzles us. Far be it from us to question the boys from Vegas. I think Ohio State is better and will win, but by more than 17 points? I'm sticking with Sparty for this one.
Ohio State 31 Michigan State 17
Iowa getting 12 vs. WISCONSIN--I haven't given Wisconsin much respect this season, but this time things are different. The Badgers need style points as much as W's. Iowa is a far different team on the road than at home and coming off a big win vs. Ohio State
Wisconsin 28, Iowa 13
FSU getting 16 vs. CLEMSON--Mismatch on paper. But FSU does have talent and they will show up to take on Clemson. Not saying they can win, but another blow out loss?
Clemson 31, FSU 20
Notre Dame giving 3 vs. MIAMI--OK. Enough is enough from the ND people who give the word insufferable a new meaning when the Irish are going well ( you know who you are). Miami has proven it can win close games this season, ND hasn't. Miami is playing at home and getting points. Miami has the speed on defense to contain ND's running game. Enough said.
Miami 23, Notre Dame 14
Washington vs. STANFORD O/U 50 Under
Michigan vs. MARYLAND O/U 45 Over
Texas Tech vs. BAYLOR O/U 72 Under
Last week: 2--3-1
HOME TEAMS IN CAPS
Notre Dame over MIAMI, giving 3
Irish have passed every test except the Georgia game with relative ease so far, in large part because they have re-invented themselves as a run-oriented, physical team. QB Brandon Wimbush perked up the sluggish passing game last week and RB Josh Adams appears ready to go again. Brian Kelley has this team peaking when it matters most — now. Hurricanes have been flawless but unimpressive and there’s still some concern about QB Malik Rosier in a big spot. And except for last game against Virginia Tech, Miami has struggled against the run this year. That’s a problem here.
Season to date: 4-5-1
Over/Under 52 1/2
With so many Jersey and Pennsylvania kids on both rosters, this game always seems to have a little more energy to it regardless of the circumstances. Nittany Lions are desperate to get back on track after two gut-wrenching losses, which means Trace McSorley and Saquon Barkley will look to bust out in a big way. Rutgers has improved thanks to a watered down Big Ten but looks overmatched here. And James Franklin won’t hesitate to rub it into Rutgers. This looks like 48-10.
Season to date: 7-3
