Oklahoma State giving the 27.5 at South Alabama. South Alabama gave up 47 points to Ole Miss and allowed 429 yards in the air against the Rebels. What are Mason Rudolph and James Washington going to do? It is South Alabama's home opener, so that might keep the game close for awhile, but this looks like a Friday night lights out situation for South Alabama
The score: Oklahoma State 51, South Alabama 20
Hawaii getting 23 at UCLA--The Rainbow Road Warriors are 2-0 and can play some football. UCLA can't possibly have much left in its emotional gas tank after that stunning comeback against Texas A&M and its a short week since the game was on Sunday night. That won't be enough for Hawaii to pull off the upset, but getting 4 touchdowns looks good to us.
The score: UCLA 31, Hawaii 17
Georgia getting 6.5 at Notre Dame--Good teams getting points always seems like a good bet. The Dawgs might be a little banged up and missing QB Jacob Eason, but freshman Jake Fromm might be able to handle prime time. And, we have a feeling that RB Nick Chubb is ready for a break out game. Don't know about Notre Dame yet. Trouncing Temple doesn't impress us much.
The Pick: Georgia 17, Notre Dame 14
Pitt/Penn State: O/U 68--Under
Oklahoma/Ohio State: 0/U 64.5--Over
Stanford/USC O/U 56--Under
