Another week of picks, another good week (4-2) for both A Jersey Guy and The Locksmith (2-0). Hmm. What's that all about? Even more encouraging was our record this season, which is a solid 23-13. Remember against the spread, anything ABOVE .500 is really good.
So let's keep rolling and see what we come up with this week.

A Jersey Guy
FSU giving 7 vs. DUKE--Duke is having a decent season, FSU a bad season. FSU has already lost 3 games, but the Seminoles are more than a TD better than the Blue Devils. Aren't they?
FSU 28, Duke 17
Purdue getting 16.5 vs WISCONSIN--We admit it, we just don't give Wisconsin a lot of respect and Purdue is just feisty enough to keep this game close (within the spread)
Wisconsin 31, Purdue 20
Ohio State giving 24 vs. NEBRASKA--At first we were tempted to take Nebraska playing at home with all of those points. But the feeling here is that the Buckeyes aren't going to give up more than a TD and the Buckeye offense will be grinding to the end.
Ohio State 38, Nebraska 10
Texas Tech vs. WEST VIRGINIA O/U: 79 Under
Auburn vs. LSU O/U: 44.5 Under
Oregon vs. STANFORD O/U: 58.5 Under
Last week: 4-2
Season to Date: 23-13

TEMPLE over UConn, giving 9 1/2
Owls soph QB Logan Marchi notched his first 300-yard passing game -- though it was against one of the nation's worst defense in East Carolina. But it's a sign that Marchi is improving and taking advantage of what's out there now, and few defenses in the country are as accommodating as the Huskies, whose unit is ranked 127th of 129 schools overall, allowing an average of 575.6 yards per game. Temple comes off a solid 34-10 victory at ECU and UConn provided ECU with its only victory to date in a 41-38 loss. The Owls control this one throughout against one of FBS' worst teams.
Season to date: 3-2-1
Oklahoma at TEXAS
The Sooners' offense is as dangerous as any in the country, in large part because of QB Baker Mayfield's stellar play to this point. But Texas has actually played solid defense this year, ranking No. 18 against the run. OU's defense has been so-so, but the Longhorns are still getting spotty QB play from frosh Sam Ehlinger and Shane Buechele and the running game has been sporadic at best when it matters most. This is a rivalry game too. That usually means the defense gets cranked up a little more. This just seems like a high over/under for this type of game.
