Washington was tied 30-30 last November when wide receiver Andre Baccellia slipped between two Utah defenders to haul in a 31-yard pass from quarterback Jake Browning. Improvising, Baccellia got wide open at the Utes 21. It was a huge play. Eight seconds remained. Two snaps later, teammate Tristin Vizcaino was true on a 38-yard field goal as the clock read all zeroes, good for a stunning victory.
Washington scored 10 points inside the final minute and Baccellia's catch was a moment to savor, and easily could have been a career highlight for the part-time starter. Yet it wasn't. I guess every player still has a little quarterback in him--Baccellia stubbornly counts the 52-yard pass he threw against Penn State, in a Fiesta Bowl loss, as his shining moment.
Watch Andre come to that conclusion in this video.
