Jake Browning strode into the Husky Stadium interview room and plopped down on a stool.
Reporters immediately surrounded him like pass rushers.
On Saturday night, the Washington quarterback helped steer the Huskies to a 27-23 victory over the Cardinal and he talked about that.
He hadn't publicly spoken about his benching the week before at Cal either--and that was a subject that needed addressing, too.
For the next 12-15 minutes, Browning offered his innermost thoughts on victory and defeat.
He could have played better against Stanford but his team held on and won, so he was satisfied with that.
And, yes, getting pulled from the lineup in Berkeley really pissed him off. He let his coach know. He dealt with the uncomfortable situation as best he could.
Here's five minutes of Browning baring his soul. Check it out.
